Utah Clash?



How unoriginal. It's soo not gangster to name a minor league hoops team, let alone a D-League team, after the old San Diego MLS team dropped "The Clash" for "The EarthQuakes." I was feeling "The Clash" the first time, I'll admit, but it was original then. The Utah Clash should revert to the logo-less format the league was founded with. Possibly just the D-League logo and the name, Utah. Why not just name the team the "The Bad Ideas."

R.Fiore is the back-up mascot for the Albany Patroons of the CBA and USBL. A lot of guys on this site, guys featured in the videos are outside the NBA. Fiore, for example, is one of the true raw talents who with the right kind of exposure could have an impact in the league. It's hard to say if we'll see him parading the stands of Madison Square Garden or The Staples Center, but for now he's inspiring an entire generation of new fans in Albany.
